Vladimir Bulavin Discusses Customs Cooperation Development with Iranian Ambassador

On March 4, 2020, Vladimir Bulavin, Head of Federal Customs Service of Russia, and Kazem Jalali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation, discussed the topical tendencies of the customs cooperation development.

During the meeting, the issues of tariff preferences to the Iranian products within the framework of creating the free-trade area between the EEU and Iran were discussed, and the further steps of implementation of the Russian-Iranian Simplified Customs Passage project were outlined.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran thanked the Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia for a cordial reception and expressed interest in the further development of customs cooperation based on comprehensive assistance and mutual trust.
